Every fall, New York Fashion Week showcases the upcoming spring collections by top tier designers. This year, our Director of Communications, Molly Raney, got a first hand glimpse at the lines and while viewing the latest designs, she noticed a few trends that will be big for spring. Take a look at what we thought were the top spring '13 trends from the runways and the streets.
White, White and More White
As one of the hot hues for spring, white is a necessary neutral. White tees, white dresses and white jackets decked out the runways of Fashion Week as well as the streets. Is there anything more versatile than the perfect white tee? We don't think so!
Sweatshirts Can Be Chic
Next season, sweatshirts will be for more than just keeping warm during chilly nights. Embellished, color-blocked and short sleeve sweatshirts were all seen at Fashion Week. Perhaps one of our new color-blocked Champ sweatshirts in the updated colors will make its way into your closet for spring.
Baseball Season Starts Early
Let's consider this spring training - baseball styles are in for spring. The baseball tee and in this case, the dress, are must-haves for the sporty girl who's looking for a casual, cool outfit.
Seeing Stripes
Stripes having staying power and we don't see them leaving any time soon since they were all over the runways and the streets of New York. Vertical stripes, horizontal stripes and everything in-between will be on-trend for the spring season.
Which spring '13 trends are you looking forward to?
