Quasi is a band. The band formed in Portland in 1993.  Now, I could spend another paragraph describing the band and their sound, but I think "Portland 1993" pretty much sums it up: the "Portland" part meaning "they're totally indie" and the "1993" part meaning "back when grunge was big, so they are a little more raw than today's polished hipster sound."  Of course, "1993" also indicates that they've been around a little bit longer than most, and their experience really shines on their latest album American Gong.  Give them a test run - we've just added their song "Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez" to our music player.

Currently listening to the Quasi "Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez" song on the blog page.. Not really my cup of tea, but I'm always game to listen to new genres of music.
