The tiny revolution grows organically: "About four years ago, we decided to plant a few tomato plants in our tiny backyard in Atlanta. A few months later we were shocked to discover that those few plants made enough tomatoes to keep us flush in pasta sauces and salsas for an entire summer. We even froze some for the winter months. This was a major epiphany - growing your own food doesn't take very much space or expertise and you control the process completely. Now that I have a child, this means more than ever. Something about the newness of a child makes you hyper-aware of not polluting them with bad stuff like pesticides and hormones. This year, our little girl. Vivianne, helped us do the planting for the first time and loved it. We do it for her and for all the kids that we hope inherit a healthier earth than we did."
