Black Joe Lewis and The Honeybears is based out of one of our favorite towns, Austin, TX. They played the party we sponsored along with Paste Magazine and Brooklyn Vegan at SXSW and they brought the funky garage soul to everyone watching. It's so awesome to see a full band playing on stage with a wide range of instruments playing an overall great set full of good sounds and tones.
Black Joe Lewis will be hitting the road on April 18th with Robert Randolph for about 2 weeks then hopping on another tour with Lucero for a few more weeks. Have you been bored with shows in your local area? Then you should make plans to see them if they come to your town.
