Introducing Think Earth: our new campaign dedicated to raising awareness about the issues faced by our Earth and the communities, environments, and people that call it home. Its purpose is two-fold: first, to showcase our global and environmental interconnectivity through articles, interviews, quotes, pictures, and videos from individuals (maybe you?!) who are dedicated to making a difference through actions both large and small. Additionally, it is our hope to generate donations for our partnered charities with proceeds raised by Think Earth Gear - tees, Sigg bottles, and other reusable items soon to be for sale on the Think Earth website.
We plan on rotating the focus of Think Earth biannually (once in the Spring and again in the Fall) to keep things organized; after all, "the issues faced by our Earth" pretty much covers everything. To get warmed up, we're starting with basic Environmentalism and evolving into Environment + Community. Our Environmentalism participants already include talents Nigel Barker, Adrian Grenier, Amy Smart, Lukas Haas, and Idealbite.com (among many others) talking about everything from revitalizing the economy with renewable fuels, to photographing seals in Antarctica, to cleaning up the Santa Monica Bay, to promoting eco-friendly products and so much more!
As many amazing perspectives as we've gained so far, there's a vital ingredient missing: YOU! We want to hear what you are doing to make a difference with how you live. No matter what you do and how you do it, your actions add up to create a movement of positive change. So why not tell the world your story? It may inspire someone else to be a little cleaner, green, more resourceful, and more aware.
